2am: When Every Second Counts (1987)

Wow! 2 posts in 2 days must be something of a record in 2016.

Anyway, thought I would post this one. It’s a gentle album, mixing Westcoast and Hi-Tech AOR very successfully. It also has elements of Sophisti-Pop and Blue Eyed Soul, which makes it a well rounded album, with something for everybody.

I can’t find much information about either of the guys in the band, other than the fact that lead singer Dave Lloyd was in the U.K. Heavy Metal/Hard Rock band ‘Rage’ back in the early 80’s. That band had evolved from the band ‘Nutz’. Good name change.

I really like the tracks ‘Somebody Someday’ and ‘Now You’re Leaving’. You can find the whole album posted on YouTube as well.
