Average White Band: Shine (1980)

I’ve been posting some classic (in my opinion) albums of late, not as often as I would like, but damn good albums nonetheless. This one is a dyed-in-the-wool classic. Smooth as you like and every song, bar none, is fantastic. One of my favourite albums of all time.

You would expect a brilliantly produced album with David foster at the helm. This was AWB’s ninth album release and had always been consummate musicians. In short, it’s the pinnacle of their career and a classic in my book. Smoothness personified. Enjoy!
