Slightly left field this one. I bought it because of the connection to David Foster and didn’t really give it much hope. However, I was pleasantly surprised.
What you get is fairly standard, middle of the road, pop songs and ballads, typical of the time. Despite that the songs are great, the production is excellent and the singing is sweet. A stellar cast of musicians obviously helps the whole thing gel together nicely.
Most of all though, it’s smooth.
