Dara Sedaka: I’m Your Girlfriend (1982)

Look at her hair! I could never quite make out the cover of this album. I’m not sure if her stylist was having a bad day or if young Dara liked looking like she’d just been dragged through a hedge backwards.

Nonetheless, the contents of the album more than makes up for it. As always seems to be the case, the musicians on the album are stellar. Mike Baird, Michael Landau, Steve Lukather, Jay Graydon, Steve Porcaro, Kitaro, Richard Page, Bryan Adams and David Foster who produced the album. As you would expect the tracks are great featuring tracks by Foster, Dan Hartman, Kitaro, Bryan Adams & Jim Vallance as well as Neil Sedaka and Dara herself on two collaborations.
