Eric Tagg: Rendezvous (1977)

A glorious slab or blue-eyed funky soul from Dutchman Tagg. Very much of it’s time, the album was recorded in Texas and features his brother, Larry, before he made a name for himself as part of Bourgeois/Tagg. The lyrical content is described by Eric as being “about Human relationship and love, but my Christian beliefs crept in”.

I would also urge you to seek out his ‘Dreamwalkin’ album, if you haven’t done so already.
