Randy Crawford: Windsong (1982)

I suddenly realised that there was a lack of female voices on this blog, a situation that I had to point right straight away with one of the best female vocalists ever. I grew up listening to her as both my Mum and sister were big fans, and it rubbed off onto me.

This album features the songwriting talents of Bill LaBounty, Carole Bayer Sager and Michael Sembello as well as a stellar cast of musicians.
